NatWest Credit Cards?

Hi I have a debt with Natwest Credit Cards of just under 锟?00 %26amp; the debt was tranferred to their collection agents - Triton Credit Services. I have been making regular payments of what I can afford each month %26amp; I have been late paying Novembers but today offered the Nov %26amp; Dec payments to bring my account up to date but triton advised that the account has been transferred to their lawyers. Will this mean a CCj will automatically be entered against me %26amp; does anyone know who Natwest%26#039;s lawyers are?? I am quite concerned about it. Anyone else been in the same situation %26amp; what did u do? Thanks

A ccj is a county court judgement and you cant get one of those until it goes to court. If the lawyers have got it they will write to you asking for full payment and threaten to issue proceedings in the county court. You may be able to renegotiate your monthly payment arrangement but clearly you have not kept to this in the past so they may be reluctant to do that. However if it goes to court they will allow you to make monthly payments but your debt will have increased by the court costs and then you will have a ccj

That%26#039;s rough. Whenever you speak with them, try to get information in writing. Write peoples names down that you speak with. Hopefully this won%26#039;t effect your credit too negatively.

If you contact a credit counselor, they will probably be able to make a good suggestion to fix the situation.|||cancel it
