I fell into difficulty with money when the bank offered me credit cards and overdrafts amounting to over 锟?000. I had an income of 锟?0 a week, which the bank knew cos it%26#039;s my bank and they can see my account.Anyway i was greedy and took out the credit and now i%26#039;m in trouble,i%26#039;m not on benefits my husband works but i personally didn%26#039;t have the means to pay the money back. So i missed a couple of minimum payments and the bank, without permission took a payment in july of 锟?2.83 which caused me to go overdrawn, which they charged me for,and then again in august 锟?5.41,this comes up on the statement as PAY credit card,so i know what it is. They have taken 锟?50 altogether over the last year,is it worth persuing and asking for a refund of charges, not to me but off the credit card? Or will they close my account and just demand the lot?

You should contact your bank and credit card providers and explain your situation. They will hopefully freeze the interest on the debt and set up a mutually agreeable repayment amount.
Do it now.

You can%26#039;t actually claim any money back for overcharding at the moment as all banks are being taken to the high court today and if they are found to have overcharged people you will automatically get refunded all bank charges!|||Late payment fees are a max of 锟?2|||Sounds like you should let your husband handle financial matters, in that you need to have self-disapline imposed on you.

o.w.|||Go to the bank now, before it gets worse, my son had the same issue %26amp; was scared to tell me but i found a bank statement %26amp; went mental, marched him to the bank + got some charges back (enough to get the bank account in the black) now he pays a little more each month to cover loan + %26#039;backlog%26#039;. it will take him 3 years to clear a loan that i feel the bank should not have given him (his bank, they also knew his income etc)|||cancel the direct debit to start with - simple - them phone them explain your circumstances and pay back some each month - they had no right to take money out of your account without your authorisation-
