Bad credit and wanting to rebuild?

I have bad credit from about four years ago while I was in college and I was approved for a car loan with Americredit (with not scu a great APR) a year ago. I have maintaned on time payments with that since I have had it as well as a cell phone bill. I am wanting to work on rebuilding my credit and wondering what credit card companies there are out there with halfway decent offers that is not a secured card.

Bad credit and wanting to rebuild? loan

Orchard bank gives credit cards to people with poor credit. They have a yearly fee of about $60 and approx 20-25% rate. Look into in.|||a couple of ways a secured credit card or unsecured...or any major retailer credit card will work the main thing is to pay on time..if u cant do that at least within 29 days will not show on your credit...ask the people u r trying to borrow from if the report to credit bureaus..|||Best way to go is a secured card with Orchard. Also if you need any furniture...check out local shops and try to get credit with them. They usually loan to not so good credit, but make sure that they report to all three credit bureaus. Another idea is to join a credit union and take out a secured loan. They report to all three and you can build points toward your credit score pretty quickly.

Pay off all past debts (esp cc%26#039;s)(Ask for a lower pay off amount...most companies will give you a reduced amount if you just ask)

Don%26#039;t stress if you have a lot of medical debt (they don%26#039;t focus on that much)

Don%26#039;t apply for credit to a lot of places in a short time

Keep your balance at 50%

Pay on time ALWAYS

Pay your other bills on time also...they do count towards your score

Good Luck!|||You could take out a small personal loan and make your monthly payments and pay it off in a few months and this will just start your credit or you could get a credit card use it for everyday purchases but pay the balance at the end of the month that way you do not pay interest and are building your credit, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com here you will be able to compare all major credit cards side by side on rates and rewards, GOO, BAD OR NO CREDIT they have the right card for you.|||simple way if your diciplened...go to your bank or credit union and take out a loan for the max amount. then dont spend the money but use it to pay it back (monthly payments) if you get it for 12 months payit back in 6. youll still pay the interest fees but it will allow you to establish points on credit.

good luck. and dont spend the money!! lol
